Yay!! Montreal has finally decided to start warming up (Mind you, the weather still calls for thunder showers in the next few days, but I’ll take it if it comes with 25+ degree heat)! So for all you ladies & gents over here in the beautiful city of Montreal, get ready to start showing some skin, because I can feel the sun beginning to beam down :)
I kept it casual and simple today with a loose tee, a skirt, and some converse. An outfit like this can be completely changed with just the switch of a shoe, or even a different top. So versatile, and yet, still looks cool. I also have to add that I think these $10 sunnies from Aldo have slowly made their way to being my favorite pair at the moment. Round sunglasses are pretty popular this season, although, I personally have always had a soft spot for them (I’d like to thank Johnny Depp for that). I find this particular pair to be the perfect size for my face. Must search for more!!
On another note, the girls decided they wanted to take part in today’s photoshoot, so please enjoy the pictures! Enjoy the rest of your day, and stay classy!

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, I decided to go with a more chic ensemble for my newly made muscle tee. I chose to pair it with blue pants, and a bright turquoise blazer to give it some color!
I know this post is supposed to be about my new DIY muscle tee, but I just had to say that I absolutely love these blue pants! I was strolling through Simons, saw them featured on a mannequin and knew I just had to have them! The fabric on the pants are so nice and soft which makes them super extra comfy. I find these pants to be quite classy, yet at the same time, still has a subtle touch of casualness with the elastic hem.
As I was sitting in my room, trying to decide which shoes would go best, the hubby and I both agreed with these Jeffrey Campbell‘s. I scored these babies for an awesome price on Solestruck‘s Black Friday sale. A simple, black pump, which is clearly, far from simple, just like me! And as for the whole ensemble put together, I have to say that it has been deemed my favorite one so far this week! I was obviously happy with my other ones, I would never post anything I didn’t think looked good ;), but this one was special. I can’t wait to go out for a dinner or some drinks just so I can have an excuse to wear this all again.
Tomorrow is the final DIY muscle tee outfit! Don’t forget to check in and see how it all ends! Stay classy, realists!

Yesterday, my oh-so-lovely husband decided to be funny and post a not-so-flattering picture of me on Reddit. The picture was one of the unchosen ones from my Sunday’s outfit for my daughter’s birthday. Now, while the picture of me is not the best angle, or anything for that matter, he decided to post it because it looked like I had alien antenna’s on my head. Not thinking he would get much traffic from it, the comments started pouring in! Positive comments? Quite the contrary…
Most of the comments were of random redditors saying that from the angle the picture was taken, I look like Skrillex… Now, at first, I must admit I was a little confused, until I studied the picture a little more. Skrillex indeed! Quite hilarious, actually, but hey! You can’t look perfect 24/7 ;) What I found most interesting, is that one of the users actually recognized me! Says we went to the same elementary school! The curiosity is killing me! If you read my blog, please let me know who you are! :)
You can view how it all went down here. I hope that if anybody who has commented on that post, has made their way to my blog and can see for themselves that I am most definitely NOT related to Skrillex ;)
As always, stay classy realists, and redditors ;)
And now, the infamous “Antennae’s meets Skrillex” picture!
As mentioned in yesterday’s post, we always have two separate birthday parties for the girls. Saturday’s outfit was more of a fun, cute, and flirty kind of look with the skater skirt and tights.
For Sunday’s look, since it was family, I decided to go a little more conservative. Nevertheless, it is as easy to run around in, cooking, cleaning, and chasing after the girls, as yesterdays outfit. My grand-parents are enamoured with the way I dress now, compared to my teenage years. Well, I guess to them, anything is better than black, on black, with some extra black, throw in TWO arms-full of spiked bracelets (but still today, I do add my own personal flare!). I must upload a picture for you realists one day soon!!
‘Till that day comes, stay classy realists! ;)

Hello fellow readers!! Hope that you’re all enjoying your day!
So, usually on Saturday nights, the girls sleep at my parents house and the hubby and I get a night alone to be able to enjoy our food warm and play some video games uninterrupted. Since he is out of town, I decided to take a girlfriend up on her offer of going out and having a girls night. I decided to play it a little more casual since we weren’t going anywhere too fancy. I recently bought this blazer from H&M (for $25!! Steal!) and have been wanting to find somewhere to wear it to. Last night was the night! Since the overall outfit was quite simple, I played it up with the jewelry. A statement necklace and some fun arm candy. This outfit is something that can easily be taken from day to night by playing with your accessories. During the day, you can keep it simple with a cute pair of flats or wedge sneakers and some simple jewelry. Night, up the glamour! Statement necklaces are a great way by doing so. Throw on a smokey eye and you got yourself a chic ensemble fit for some drinks with the ladies!
I apologize for the somewhat blurry pictures. Hope you enjoy them anyway!
