Afternoon/evening, fellow Realists! Happy Tuesday!
As you can see, it’s been a little bit of a challenge to be able to post as frequently as I used to. Having to balance family, our house, and now my new job, I’m still working on getting it all together so that I can get back to writing daily posts, or at least 4 days/week ;)
Since it’s official that there’s no turning back to warm weather for the next few months, adding tights/stockings to summer favorites are pretty much the best way to make your items fall friendly. When I first saw this playsuit make its way into the store, I instantly had a connection to it. Funny thing, I thought it was a dress at first, and after finding out it was actually a romper (if you’ve been following me for a while now, you can understand my love for shorts), I needed it even more. It’s interesting because this is actually not a piece I would usually see myself in, but it’s always nice to try on new pieces and step out of your box of comfort :)
What tips do you have on transitioning your summer favorites fall/winter friendly? Stay warm, Realists, and stay classy!
I FINALLY made it to the salon to do my hair. Stay tuned for full colors next post ;)
I know this is probably a “photographers mistake”, but clearly we are no professional photographers, I kinda really like the way this photo came out :P

I can’t help it. I’m such a typical mom when it comes to taking pictures of my girls and wanting to show them off. As hard as I try not to, because, you know, those people can get a little “too much” with it, I couldn’t not take any pictures yesterday to post about them today.
Once again, I had nothing to do with whatever fashion choices they made that day. It’s all whatever their little brains wanted them to put together, Mardi Gras beads and all. They’re clearly too cool for daycare ;)
Seriously, as much as we all complain that the weekends always come to an end and we have to begin all over again on Monday, days go by so fast!! It’s Wednesday already! Happy hump day, and stay classy!
So strong! ;)

98…99…100!! Realists, I’ve made it to my 100th post! To those following since the beginning, thanks for sticking with me! And to all new followers, hope you’re enjoying yourselves ;)
Do you ever get those moments where you just feel like nothing in your closet will do? Not one article of clothing will help bring out your personality, but rather, hide it? That was me yesterday. I just felt like there was nothing hanging or folded that was going to make me happy. I’m in the process of revamping my wardrobe (I’ve been in a non-shopping rut for about 4-5 years because of being pregnant back-to-back and not fitting into anything) to how I feel today, so I have clothing that I feel good in, just wasn’t “feeling” it. Outfit change after outfit change just to go have lunch and then go grocery shopping *sigh*.
Finally! I settled on this romper that you’ve seen featured here, but as a night-time outfit. Today I show you how you can take an outfit that was worn for a night out clubbing in Vegas, to a run-around, grocery shopping ensemble. Seriously, Converse make any outfit day-time appropriate.
Do you ever go through days/nights like the one I went through yesterday? How do you usually get out of it? Would love to hear your tips and tricks.
Have a wonderful day and stay classy!
Yay to 100!
