Hello fellow Realists! Hoping you all had a splendid weekend and getting back to the real world yesterday wasn’t too hard for you :)
This past Sunday was my birthday (woohoo), but since the hubby was out of town, he took me out for a nice supper this past Thursday. After wanting to take me to this restaurant for a while now, he made reservations at Le Filet, an outstanding restaurant that really lived up to everything I’ve heard. Honestly, if you came up to me and told me that this would be my last supper, I’d be cool with it! I would then proceed with licking my plates clean, because frankly, if it wasn’t such a classy place, I would’ve probably done that on Thursday ;) We’ve eaten at some great restaurants throughout the years, but the food here was really top notch, and the service? Excellent! You really do get what you pay for.
As for the outfit, I knew I had to pull out the floral shirt I once wore here (paired with shorts and floral heels), and it definitely had to be paired with my much loved leopard heels. Mixing prints is always fun, and leopard is being considered a neutral because of the abundance of prints it can be paired with. You can never go wrong with a little leopard in your life ;)
I’m off to continue with my fall cleaning!! Have a great Tuesday, Realists, and stay classy!
I finally bought an ear cuff! I’ve been wanting one for a while now, and after coming across this one, I knew I had to have it! I don’t really wear earrings anymore, except for the ones you always see there, so an ear cuff is the perfect accessory. They really add a lot of character to an outfit.

For some reason, todays weather has decided to shoot up to +28 degrees. Trust me, I’m not complaining, but I will be honest with you and say that it was a little warm while I was taking the pictures with my shirt, and I did remove it after they were done.
I’ve paired my plaid shirt with pants my last two posts here and here, so I then went on to put it together with my maxi skirt. This outfit would be great for weather that’s just warm enough for a slit on your skirt, but still cool enough for a long sleeved shirt. And, as I’ve mentioned previously, you can always tie the shirt around your waist when it starts to get a little too warm.
My last two posts were quite neutral, so I brought in some colors today by adding a lime green tank with my red heels. I know you’re probably getting sick of seeing them, but when you just feel so comfortable in a pair of shoes, you can’t help but want to pair it with everything in your wardrobe.
Mid-week once again, the weekend is near! Stay classy!
New finger candy ;) Love knuckle rings, I need to pick up more!

Now, I know I mentioned in yesterdays post here that I would be featuring my newly purchased plaid shirt today, but I lied. Only a little, so hear me out. As I was sitting here writing my post for today, I couldn’t stop thinking about the multiple outfits I could put together using only one shirt. I then thought it best that instead of giving you one outfit, I’ll give you one a day, for a week! So starting Monday, I’ll be posting a new ‘Week of Style’ featuring the aforementioned plaid shirt :)
Until then, I’ve really been wanting to show you Realists these new heels I picked up for a ridiculous price. Long story short, I’ve been eyeing these Rachel Zoe heels from Winners since I first saw them hit the racks. Original price: $400, Winners: $200. Now, as much as I loved them I couldn’t just drop $200 on a pair of shoes right now. Let me cut to the chase, saw them on sale a couple of weeks ago for, *drum-roll* $40!! Yes, $40 for a pair of heels that was originally $400. Amazing, I know. And the last in my size! Obviously, we were meant to be ;)
I love finding great sales, I mean, who doesn’t. Would love to hear any amazing sales you’ve ever been so lucky to come across! Stay tuned Monday for the start of a ‘Week of Style; Plaid shirt’. Have a wonderful weekend, and stay classy!

Wow, it’s been awhile I’ve been off! I’ve been so busy this past week, it’s nice to be back in the game! Hope you all didn’t miss me too much ;)
Yesterday was Labour Day, (yay to long weekends!) so we took the opportunity of a day off to spend some time downtown followed by taking the girls to their first movie at the movie theatre. How happy they were :)
It’s now September, which unfortunately means summer’s coming to an end :( On the plus side, we get to now start putting together fall outfits which are always fun! As much as I love 25+ degree weather, I love dressing for fall. Booties and scarves, blazers and colorful tights, so many amazing fall pieces to play around with. My outfit here isn’t “fall-fall” per see, but it’s a transition for me with the pants (I try to never wear pants during the summer).
I love camo and red, something about this print and color combo that always makes me happy, so I obviously had to pair my camo jeans with some red heels. Tie it all together with a simple white tee, and you’ve got a great ensemble that can be pulled off without even trying.
Realists, I hope you all had a lovely week, and if you had the day off yesterday, I hope you took advantage of it ;) Stay Classy!
No, this is not a crotch shot :P I finally bought some new rings to add to my collection!! Loving knuckle rings!

When it comes to heat, I LOVE a great pair of shorts. Gym shorts, suit shorts, denim shorts, I absolutely am infatuated (I know that’s a strong word, but it’s true!) with shorts! So when I came across this pair, with the stand-out of the splatted colors, I knew I had to own them! It also helps that I found them on special ;)
When I think of denim shorts, first instinct; blue. Then, I guess you would say white. After that, colored, but these are on a whole other level. I adore the fact that the colors are not super bright, but you do still have those hints of yellow and pink thrown in there.
Now, at first thought, I was heading for a white tank, and then stopped myself mid-track when I then caught, at the corner of my eye, my striped, neon yellow tank I first wore here. I mean, why not?? Adds more character to an outfit (and love mixing prints). And to not over-do it, I threw on my black blazer and some black ankle-strap heels.
It’s Thursday!! And you know what that means? Ladies night at so many restaurants!!! Oh, and the weekend’s a day away ;) Stay Classy, Realists!

This weekend’s Saturday wasn’t a fancy one, so I decided to wear an outfit that was comfortable enough to take care of the kids during the day, but still looked fashionable for a Saturday night with the hubby.
Montreal is finally beginning to feel a little more “springy”. Sun is shining, snow is melting, and more and more people are strolling outdoors. As nice as the weather is, there were some chilling winds that Saturday which kept us staying mostly indoors. We had lunch at Boston Pizza, which was quite good and VERY kid friendly. Then after lunch, we dropped off the girls for their usual sleep over party at yiayia & papou’s (grandma & grandpa). After the girls were dropped off, we decided to go downtown to catch a movie followed by some yummy sushi for dinner.
On my previous post about second winter, I paired a loose sweater over my dress to keep me a little warmer. On Saturday, I went the same route, except this time, with a cardigan. Accompanied by my trusty knee boots. I was warm, comfy, and would like to think I still looked good ;)
How did you spend your weekend? Anything special, or just another day? No matter what you did, I’m sure you were classy as always ;)
P.s. Olympus Has Fallen. Great movie!! Definitely one to check out!! I mean, anything Gerald Butler’s in automatically makes it worth my while :P
